CT10 Semi Automatic core cutting machine
CoreTech International now provides customers with the durability of the CT10 Automatic Core Cutter in a more budget friendly and economical CT10 Semi Automatic Core Cutter. This new CT10 Semi Automatic Core Cutter has the cut width accuracy of +/-0.015”. More brawny than its little brother (the CT8), and capable of cutting larger diameter cores, the CT10 Semi Automatic Core Cutter is perfect for those clients who are looking for a cutter in between a CT8 and CT10 Auto.
Machine operators will be drawn to the safety features (such as an Emergency Stop, a knife guard, drive roller guards and three different End Stop guards). Additionally, ease of use and flexibility round out the key features that the CT10 Semi Automatic Core Cutter has to offer.
The operator loads the core onto the mandrel. Then the operator engages the end of the core on the chuck. This chuck steadies the core as it rotates. The operator then pushes the "Motor Start" pushbutton. The operator manually advances the core to the end stop which triggers the start of the cutting cycle. This ergonomic design will assist your team in producing more cut cores in less time. Once the core is cut, an adjustable timer signals to the machine that the blade is ready to be retracted. With the knife retracted, the CT10 Semi Automatic Core Cutter is ready for the next cut.
A huge advantage to our entire line of core cutters over our competitors is the conversion between core ID sizes. The operator replaces the core-specific chuck and anvil by using three bolts. The mandrel and knife are then adjusted and the next core ID size is ready to be cut. The entire conversion takes less than 5 minutes.
