The Team...

Craig Grey

Craig, VP of Engineering and Production

Craig has been involved with core cutters since 1979; first as an assembler, and then with all aspects of design and manufacturing after his graduation from Lehigh University in 1982. His experience and expertise is vital to the daily workings of CoreTech. He enjoys working with the rest of the CoreTech team to solve any customer issues relating to core cutting and core handling. This commitment to problem solving has resulted in the design and building of many special projects as well as the modification of standard core cutter products to adapt them to the specific needs of the customer. Craig strives to continually learn more about the various industries that CoreTech serves in an effort to upgrade the product line with new technology to better meet the demands of our customers.

Joseph, VP of Operations

Joseph has been working at CoreTech since 2010, where he started his career building the machinery and learning the intricacies of core cutting. He then moved to the electrical, controls and automation side of the business all while providing customer support both remote and on site across North America. In his nearly 15 years with the company, Joseph has logged hundreds of thousands of miles visiting customer sites and presenting at trade shows. As technology has progressed, Joseph has ensured that CoreTech’s machinery remains on the cutting edge, most notably with the introduction of remote networking capabilities on the company’s high end machinery. This means that the machines can be accessed remotely at any time the customer desires which is a testament to his dedication to customer service. The experience gained by the above allows Joseph to efficiently oversee operations, be it purchasing, sales, inventory or anything else that may arise in the day to day business of CoreTech International.

Dan, Assembly Technician

Dan graduated high school in 1984 and immediately joined the CoreTech ranks.  From the beginning he was drawn to the fabrication of parts for the machines.  He naturally took to milling, lathe work and welding.  Dan then used his acquired knowledge to move into assembly of the machinery, which gave him the satisfaction of seeing the parts he had himself made be built into a working core cutter.  In his free time Dan enjoys woodworking and has adapted his skillset as a machinist into designs that include furniture as well as a sawmill which he engineered and fabricated himself.  Dan’s generous nature has driven him to spend much of his woodworking time on projects for others, and he credits his relationships with his CoreTech family as the driving force behind many of his successes in life.

Gerhard Grey

Gerhard, Assembly Technician

After graduating form Cooper Union with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Gerhard has 47 years of management, maintenance and operational experience in manufacturing sectors including the pulp & paper, consumer and pharmaceutical industries.  The customer focus and mechanical skillsets developed by Gerhard have now been successfully utilized in his work at CoreTech.  Attention to detail and being responsive to customer requests are the focus of Gerhard and the entire CoreTech team.

Russ, Assembly and Electrical Technician

Russell joined Coretech in June of 2023. After 10 years in his previous career as a Security Officer, Russell was looking for a dramatic change. He originally joined the team as a Machine Assembler. Shortly thereafter, Russell showed interest in wiring and the process of how our machines operate.  He is now responsible for all of the wiring behind our core cutters. Although Russell’s work is often unseen, his role is essential to the operation of our machines.
